About the role

Linen Chest is hiring a part-time and seasonal Sales Associate in Ottawa East. The role is in-store and focuses on delivering a welcoming, personalized shopping experience by guiding customers through their choices and helping them find the right products for their home.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers with enthusiasm and provide friendly, warm and personalized service
• Understand customers' needs and advise them on products that fit their needs and style
• Present the features, benefits and details of the products
• Build trusting relationships with customers to promote satisfaction and loyalty
• Achieve sales targets by recommending relevant products and suggesting complementary items
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions and policies
• Keep the showroom visually appealing, clean and well organized
• Work with team members and follow company policies and procedures

Required profile

• Friendly, energetic and passionate about customer service, with strong communication skills
• Comfortable working with the public and in a dynamic, results-driven environment
• Motivated by sales targets and customer satisfaction
• Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented and able to work as part of a team
• Available to work days, evenings and weekends
