Retail Store Coordinator

About the role

The Retail Store Coordinator will lead the seafood counter team at our AC Covert Seafoods Distribution Centre, delivering excellent customer service and overseeing both the physical storefront and online store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily storefront operations, keep the store clean, organized and fully stocked, and lead retail associates.
• Develop merchandising strategies, monitor inventory, and coordinate replenishment with the distribution centre.
• Manage the online store – product listings, pricing, promotions, order processing and fulfillment.
• Analyze sales data, prepare reports for management and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Provide exceptional customer service, train staff on best practices and handle escalated complaints.

Required profile

• High school diploma (post‑secondary education in business or retail management preferred).
• 3‑5 years of retail management experience, preferably in the food/seafood industry.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy boxes of product.
• Clear criminal background check as per company policy.

Required skills

• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with retail management software.
• Organizational and multitasking skills, including sales data analysis.
