Retail Outfitter – Optics & Hunting (Part‑Time)

About the role

Join Bass Pro Shops in Winnipeg as a Retail Outfitter, focusing on optics and hunting gear. Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, you’ll work with a dedicated team to deliver legendary customer service and share your passion for the outdoors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting products by evaluating their needs and providing tailored recommendations.
• Promote company programs, promotions, and emerging outdoor technologies.
• Maintain visual standards: signage, merchandise presentation, restocking, dusting, and floor upkeep.
• Resolve customer issues using sound judgment and logical problem‑solving.
• Support other store areas as business demands shift.

Required profile

• One or more years of experience in a sales or service environment (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Strong ability to assess customer needs and exceed expectations.
• Passion for outdoor activities and knowledge of current trends.
