Remote Attorney – AI Training & Legal Review

About the role

This contract position enables an experienced attorney to shape next‑generation AI systems by providing high‑quality legal input. Working remotely, you will translate litigation expertise into actionable data that improves model learning, reasoning, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust legal rubrics for AI‑driven document review and analysis.
• Conduct in‑depth legal research and draft complex memoranda to guide AI model training and evaluation.
• Analyze large volumes of litigation documents to identify issues, trends, and data points vital for AI improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate legal insights into actionable AI requirements.
• Oversee the quality and accuracy of AI outputs, providing feedback to enhance discovery management and motion practice capabilities.
• Develop case strategies and motion practice templates that inform machine‑learning models in legal contexts.
• Continuously review and refine rubric criteria to align with evolving legal standards.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, especially managing document‑intensive cases.
• Proven expertise in case strategy development, motion practice, and discovery management.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a remote, digital‑first environment.
