Registered Nurse – BMT/Autologous Transplant – Part‑Time

About the role
The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the BMT/Autologous Transplant/Lymphoma/Myeloma unit on a 0.5 FTE permanent part‑time basis. The role involves providing compassionate, collaborative care to patients undergoing complex transplant and oncology treatments, with flexible day or night shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with the UHN Professional Practice Model and Ontario nursing standards.
- Administer and monitor treatments for bone‑marrow transplant, lymphoma and myeloma patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
- Engage in reflective practice and continuous quality improvement.
Required profile
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Experience in oncology, transplant or related acute care settings preferred.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in nursing assessment, medication administration, and patient education.
- Knowledge of infection control, safety standards, and clinical documentation.
