Registered Dental Technician (RDT)

About the role

We are looking for a Registered Dental Technician (RDT) to join our commercial dental laboratory in Richmond, BC. The role involves designing and modifying a range of dental devices, supervising trainees, and handling administrative duties within a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and modify dental devices such as full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps and bands.
• Prepare plaster models, moulds, wax bite‑blocks, impression trays and pack plastic material to form dentures.
• Finish metal frameworks, mould wax over denture set‑ups, polish and buff completed dentures.
• Train other dental technicians and supervise students in training.
• Perform administrative functions for the laboratory.

Required profile

• Client‑focused with strong attention to detail.
• Flexible team player able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and ability to sit for extended periods.
