About the role
LGC Standards is seeking a professional Receptionist/Office Coordinator to manage the front‑desk and support daily office operations. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a smooth and secure experience for staff and guests.
Key responsibilities
- Greet visitors, manage front‑desk inquiries and route calls.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and parcels.
- Enforce security and visitor policies.
- Maintain office supplies and support the Facilities Department.
- Update seating plans and assist with site‑wide communications.
- Provide administrative support to HR, EHS, and other departments, including data entry and analysis.
- Assist with meeting and event planning, including meals, town halls, and presentations.
- Perform ad‑hoc mini‑projects and back‑up duties as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in science or a related discipline.
- 2‑3 years of experience in a business or office environment.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively and pay close attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
