Purchasing Analyst – Manufacturing

About the role

The Purchasing Analyst supports maintenance operations by ensuring timely availability of parts and services for the factory. You will work closely with local business partners to translate sourcing strategies into actionable plans and drive cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase parts and services needed for maintenance, collaborating with Maintenance, Operations, Procurement and Finance teams.
• Analyze purchasing, inventory and maintenance data using advanced Excel and Power BI to generate insights and support data‑driven decisions.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving and process‑efficiency opportunities, supporting budgeting and zero‑based maintenance budgeting.
• Review vendor contracts, monitor supplier performance, and support supplier onboarding and development activities.

Required profile

• Diploma in Food Science or related field, or equivalent technical purchasing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of operational experience in factory logistics, materials handling or MRP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements over 2‑3 years.
• Experience leading cross‑functional projects and managing supplier relationships.
