About the role
We are looking for a dedicated baker to join our production team at Maxim's Bakery Ltd. in Vancouver. The role involves preparing a variety of doughs, batters, and finished baked goods for daily sales and special orders.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods.
- Mix and bake batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes.
- Frost and decorate cakes and pastries.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and safety.
- Prepare pastry for special occasions such as weddings and birthdays.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of bakery or food‑production experience.
- Ability to work in a factory or plant environment.
