About the role
We are looking for a Corporate Quality Specialist for Nestlé based at our North York location. Reporting directly to the Director, Quality Management, you will support the implementation and verification of food safety management systems while driving quality excellence across Nestlé Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Manage consumer complaint investigations and coordinate responses to consumer alerts and adverse events, working closely with factories and cross‑functional partners to ensure timely resolution.
- Lead monthly consumer complaint review meetings, identify trends and opportunities to reduce consumer dissatisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare consumer complaint reports and quality performance metrics, including monthly KPI reporting for leadership teams.
- Coordinate release activities for Infant Nutrition, Nestlé Health Science, and Natural Health Product portfolios to support business continuity and compliance requirements.
- Partner with factories to investigate product concerns and develop consumer‑facing responses for regulatory inquiries.
- Manage document control through Intelex, maintain SOPs, and support Safe Food for Canadians regulatory compliance across manufacturing sites.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of factory quality experience, preferably within the food or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety management systems, regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, manage change, implement process improvements and collaborate across factory and head‑office teams.
