Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

As a Maintenance Supervisor on the night shift you will lead a crew of skilled trades professionals to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities. The role blends maintenance leadership, equipment reliability, safety, quality and continuous improvement while supporting digital manufacturing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Millwrights and Electricians to achieve safety, quality, reliability, and performance targets.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and resource allocation to meet operational priorities.
• Supervise critical maintenance metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance, and asset uptime.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé safety standards including LOTO, confined space, electrical safety, and contractor management.
• Apply SAP PM and other CMMS tools for planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance work.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification (e.g., Red Seal Industrial Mechanic, Industrial Electrician).
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably unionized.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reliability‑centered maintenance, root‑cause analysis and TPM.
• Proven ability to use data analytics and maintenance metrics to drive performance improvements.

Required skills

• SAP PM and other CMMS platforms.
• Microsoft Excel (advanced) and Power BI.
• PLC programming, robotics, machine‑vision systems, VFDs, AGVs/AMRs and industrial controls.
