Project Superintendent – Construction

About the role

Eastern Construction is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead day‑to‑day construction activities across the Greater Toronto Area. The role ensures work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality while aligning with schedule, budget and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own execution of all on‑site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel to meet schedule, budget and quality expectations.
• Develop and continuously manage short‑interval and look‑ahead schedules, adjusting sequencing to maintain project momentum.
• Lead a strong safety culture, proactively identifying risks and ensuring compliance with Eastern Construction policies and the Ontario Health & Safety Act.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents, drawings and specifications, resolving quality issues early to avoid rework.
• Maintain clear communication with subcontractors, consultants, clients and internal teams, representing Eastern Construction professionally in all site interactions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead on‑site teams and coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and schedule adherence.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
