Project Engineer – Ontario & Canadian Sites

About the role

Sika Canada is seeking a Project Engineer to lead major plant projects across Ontario and support other Canadian sites. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, Central Region, you will work closely with the National Director of Engineering to deliver multidisciplinary projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and commissioning strategies.
• Execute and coordinate project activities, managing resources across all phases.
• Maintain relationships with internal teams, external contractors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and municipalities.
• Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders.
• Oversee technical procedures, control programming, and training documentation when required.
• Resolve technical issues during design, engineering, installation, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong design, planning, organization, and communication abilities.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving approach with critical thinking and sound judgment.
• High sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of regulatory codes such as OHSA, building, electrical, and environmental regulations.
