Product Manager – Headbox & Forming Solutions

About the role

Valmet is seeking a Product Manager to lead its Headbox and Forming Solutions portfolio. You will work closely with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions that drive performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Understand Valmet technology, its strengths, weaknesses and latest developments.
• Act as the primary interface between engineering, project management and the customer for sold projects.
• Guide project start‑up, monitor progress and ensure contractual guarantees are met.
• Provide feedback to R&D on product development needs.
• Collaborate with technology managers, application engineers, sales managers and other product managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (paper or process technology).
• 3–5 years of experience in the paper industry (field services, sales, engineering, project management or applications).
• Proven ability to work directly with customers and deliver presentations.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
