Procurement Specialist – OS&E for Luxury & Lifestyle Brands

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will drive OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment) category strategies for IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle brands. Working remotely from the Toronto area, you will bridge strategic planning and day‑to‑day execution, ensuring that hotel openings and existing properties receive cost‑effective, compliant, and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute OS&E strategies across sub‑categories such as amenities, linen, uniforms, and more.
• Develop and refine category plans using spend data, supplier insights, and stakeholder feedback.
• Lead sourcing activities including RFIs, RFPs, negotiations, and contract onboarding.
• Manage supplier performance, identify risks, and maintain strong partnerships to drive innovation and quality.
• Collaborate with Brand, Operations, Design, and Procurement teams to support program adoption.
• Support new hotel openings by aligning category strategy with project timelines.
• Analyze spend, performance, and adoption metrics to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and executive summaries for leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, hospitality or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in hospitality OS&E or similar categories.
• Proven experience in sourcing, supplier management, and category execution within a matrixed environment.
• Strong understanding of OS&E categories, brand standards, and procurement fundamentals.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
