About the role
As a valuable member of the Facility Services team, you will help maintain the high level of cleanliness at Scotiabank Arena. Working under the supervision of the Facility Services Supervisor, you will ensure the arena is clean and safe for fans and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, special projects, and heavy‑duty cleaning to keep the arena spotless.
- Respond quickly to spills, maintain washrooms, and empty garbage during events.
- Clean washrooms, suites, offices and public areas to meet MLSE standards.
- Handle cleaning chemical solutions, hazardous materials and bodily fluids safely.
- Communicate professionally with fans, internal teams and co‑workers.
- Report building and equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Required profile
- Available to work overnight, weekend, weekday and holiday shifts.
- 1‑2 years housekeeping or cleaning experience in a commercial environment such as hotels, schools or hospitals.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Strong attendance, attention to detail and punctuality.
- Willingness to work independently or as part of a team without direct supervision.
Required skills
- Operation of floor care machines.
- Use of general cleaning equipment and chemicals.
