About the role

The Beverage Service Manager will oversee all beverage operations for a busy restaurant in Toronto. You will be responsible for maintaining profitability, ensuring compliance with liquor regulations, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze budgets, develop cost structures for food, alcohol, and supplies, and monitor daily financial performance.
  • Plan, organize, and evaluate daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff while enforcing health, safety, and provincial liquor legislation.
  • Maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and handle cash balancing and reporting.
  • Address customer complaints, manage events, and negotiate catering arrangements.

Required profile

  • Dependable and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
