About the role
We are seeking a dedicated child care provider to work in a private home in Richmond, BC. The role involves caring for infants and children, supporting parents with daily routines, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. Flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, days, and weekends, are required.
Key responsibilities
- Follow parents’ guidance on toilet training and discipline methods.
- Provide full‑time supervision, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and preparing nutritious meals.
- Organize games, outings, and activities that promote social and personal development.
- Assist with homework, emotional well‑being, and transportation to school, appointments, and family trips.
- Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and maintain a safe home environment, especially in parents’ absence.
Required profile
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Reliability, honesty, patience, and strong time‑management.
- Flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and ability to work independently.
