Janitorial Cleaner – Part‑time

About the role

Cleantech Service Group is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner for a part‑time, permanent position in Richmond. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, disinfect hard‑surface flooring and vacuum carpets, spot‑clean as needed.
• Empty waste receptacles, replace liners and disinfect both interior and exterior of containers.
• Restock washroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels and soap.
• Replace lightbulbs, report maintenance issues and follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleaning logs, hose down floors and drains, and dust furniture, windows and walls.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management and physical stamina (lifting up to 25 lb, standing for long periods).
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
