About the role

We are seeking a dedicated child care provider to work in a private home in Richmond, BC. The role involves caring for infants and children, supporting parents with daily routines, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. Flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, days, and weekends, are required.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow parents’ guidance on toilet training and discipline methods.
  • Provide full‑time supervision, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and preparing nutritious meals.
  • Organize games, outings, and activities that promote social and personal development.
  • Assist with homework, emotional well‑being, and transportation to school, appointments, and family trips.
  • Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and maintain a safe home environment, especially in parents’ absence.

Required profile

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Reliability, honesty, patience, and strong time‑management.
  • Flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and ability to work independently.
