About the role
Associated Ambulance is seeking a qualified Primary Care Paramedic to join the Drayton Valley station on a permanent full‑time basis. The role offers a predictable four‑days‑on, four‑days‑off shift schedule and involves delivering pre‑hospital emergency care to the community.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions to determine the extent of injury or illness and immediate care requirements.
- Administer pre‑hospital emergency medical care, including patient stabilization for ambulance transportation.
- Monitor vital signs, assess blood glucose levels, and perform other diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with emergency medical personnel, communications officers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Required profile
- Valid Primary Care Paramedic practice permit meeting Alberta EMS requirements.
- Current, valid Alberta Class IV driver’s licence.
- Completion of all mandatory training, including MCP and PDIC.
