Plant Manager, Manufacturing Operations

About the role

TWIGZ Craft Pretzels is seeking a hands‑on Plant Manager to lead both internal and external manufacturing operations. This senior leadership position will shape a world‑class production environment for a fast‑growing premium snack brand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day manufacturing and production across all facilities.
• Own production output, efficiency, labour, downtime, waste and overall performance.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing production and operations team.
• Establish production schedules to meet customer demand and service levels.
• Develop and track operational KPIs such as throughput, yield, labour efficiency, waste and downtime.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase capacity, improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Partner with Quality and Food Safety to maintain GMPs and support BRC/GFSI certification.
• Champion health and safety culture and oversee equipment performance and preventative maintenance.
• Develop SOPs, production procedures and operational controls.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and Sales to align production with business needs.

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or plant operations.
• 3+ years in a plant, production or operations leadership role.
• Experience in food manufacturing, CPG or high‑volume production environments.
• Proven track record of leading production teams and driving operational performance.
• Strong understanding of production planning, labour management, manufacturing KPIs and continuous improvement.
• Experience with food safety, GMPs and GFSI‑recognized certification requirements.
