Pharmacist (Richmond Hill)

About the role

CareRx is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join its Richmond Hill team. You will ensure prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while providing pharmaceutical patient care for seniors in long‑term care and congregate living communities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to dispense medication orders accurately, safely, and on time.
• Verify safe and appropriate medication administration and assess critical medications.
• Rapidly respond to palliative‑care prescriptions and coordinate drug deliveries.
• Conduct medication regimen/profile reviews and document recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with provincial and federal pharmacy laws and corporate policies.
• Provide exceptional customer care to patients, home partners, and resident care teams.

Required profile

• Current Canadian pharmacy licence.
• Experience in specialty, long‑term care, or senior‑care pharmacy settings.
• Ability to work independently under the direction of the Designated Pharmacy Manager.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.
