Orthodontic Dental Technician – Commercial Lab

About the role

Join Laboratoire Orthodontie Plus in Montréal as an Orthodontic Dental Technician. You will work in a commercial dental laboratory designing and modifying orthodontic and other dental devices for a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and modify dental devices such as full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps and bands.
• Prepare plaster models and moulds and perform related administrative functions.
• Fabricate orthodontic bands from metal and alloys, polish and buff dentures.
• Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape metal stock into required parts.
• Utilise 3D printing technology for prototype and final device production.

Required profile

• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a dental laboratory setting.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and handle repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
• Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail and the capacity to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Client‑focused attitude, good interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
