Pharmacist – Central Pharmacy Services (CPS)

About the role

Join Central Pharmacy Services (CPS), the central fill division of Loblaw/Shoppers Drug Mart, as a Pharmacist working Sunday to Thursday, 6 am‑2 pm. You will support the pharmacy network by dispensing medications, communicating with client pharmacies, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a modern, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately while adhering to federal and provincial regulations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and manage consent documentation.
• Provide timely resolutions to customer inquiries and coordinate with vendor and support teams.
• Monitor inventory, control access to the dispensary, and manage expired stock.
• Oversee documentation and control of controlled substances in accordance with the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
• Promote pharmacy campaigns, programs, and services as needed.

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacist eligible to work in Canada.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy practice standards, ethics, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work fixed shifts and maintain a predictable schedule.

Required skills

• Knowledge of federal/provincial pharmacy regulations.
• Familiarity with controlled drug record‑keeping.
• Proficiency in pharmacy dispensing processes.
