About the role

This full‑time position is for a Pharmacist in an Acute Care Pharmacy setting. The role combines drug distribution, direct patient care, and educational responsibilities within a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

Review, clarify, and enter physician orders.
Dispense medications and supervise pharmacy technicians.
Answer drug‑related questions and provide pharmaceutical care.
Perform medication reconciliation and patient counseling.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and on‑call activities.
Educate pharmacy students and multidisciplinary staff.
Oversee automated dispensing unit cabinets and initiate safety reports.
Contribute to hospital and departmental committees.

Required profile

Current licensure by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Recent experience in acute‑care or hospital pharmacy; residency preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer‑service abilities.
