Personal Banker Trainee

About the role

TD Canada Trust is looking for a Personal Banker Trainee to join its front‑line team in Edmonton. You will help customers achieve their financial goals by providing personalized advice on banking, credit and investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on a range of financial products, including investment and credit solutions.
• Engage customers with thoughtful financial questions to build relationships and deepen loyalty.
• Provide personalized financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates and suggest solutions aligned with customer goals.
• Act as a point of contact for frontline staff on customer issues and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain professional workspaces and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma; post‑secondary education or degree is an asset.
• Completion of IFIC (or equivalent) and ability to complete CFSA within 12 months of hire.
• Strong communication, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to be mobile within the assigned district after training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• Knowledge of advanced investing, credit processes and banking concepts.
