Cashier – Part‑Time Finance Role

About the role
The Cashier supports UHN's high‑volume Corporate Billing & Accounts Receivable department, handling cash and payment processing for patients and internal departments.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and record payments from multiple sources, including patients and departments.
- Remit cheques received from accounts payable and manage petty‑cash disbursements.
- Perform cash counting and secure cash in designated locations.
- Respond to information requests via phone or in person.
- Assist with cross‑functional duties such as verifying patient addresses.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bondable status.
- 3 to less than 6 months of practical related experience or on‑the‑job training.
- Customer service experience.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office (or equivalent).
- Experience with Epic system.
- Experience with HRCM system.
