Bilingual AR/AP Clerk – Remote Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a remote bilingual AR/AP Clerk to own daily invoicing, payments, and collections, freeing our Financial Controller to focus on strategic finance work. The role requires fluent communication in both French and English across our retail and direct‑to‑consumer channels.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable: invoice shipped orders, track and post payments, manage collections, prepare statements, and handle payment inquiries in English and French.
• Process accounts payable: verify, code, and match vendor invoices in Beanworks or QuickBooks Online, prepare payments, send remittances, and monitor discounts and fees.
• Maintain organized digital AR/AP documentation and vendor/customer records.
• Contribute to process improvements and update internal SOPs.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in AR/AP, bookkeeping, or related accounting roles.
• Strong verbal fluency in French and English; written French at a working level is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to work autonomously after training.
