Performance and Restructuring Senior Associate (Bilingual FR/EN)

About the role

PwC Canada is hiring a Performance and Restructuring Senior Associate (bilingual French/English) in its Advisory line of service, within the business recovery services practice. The role focuses on helping clients navigate financial distress and recover from challenging business situations, working in a team to deliver high-quality client service and operational efficiency. It follows the departure of a valued team member and ensures continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Business reviews engagements
• Preparation and monitoring of cash flows and financial projections
• Development of restructuring strategies
• Formal creditor proposal proceedings
• Court and privately appointed receivership matters
• Distressed merger and acquisition and financing engagements
• Financial model development and review, using PwC's network of data transformation experts
• Other statutory appointments such as bankruptcy matters, wind-ups and interim receiverships

Required profile

• Fluency in English and French, to support English-speaking clients, colleagues and stakeholders
• Professional accounting designation (CPA); the role does not support completion of the Canadian CPA designation
• Willingness to consider pursuing the Chartered Insolvency Restructuring Professional (CIRP) designation
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, on simultaneous projects, autonomously or in a team
• Strong customer relationship and business development skills

The salary range is $60,000 - $100,100, based on skills, experience, qualifications and location. Eligible employees may participate in variable incentive pay programs. The position is open to work visa sponsorship.
