Corporate Finance Manager (Bilingual FR/EN)

About the role

PwC Canada is hiring a Corporate Finance Manager (bilingual French/English) in Montreal for its Advisory line of service. The manager guides clients through divestiture, acquisition and financing transactions, from assessing industry conditions and identifying buyers or sellers to negotiating definitive agreements and closing. The role works in a team solving complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the transaction process from concept to closing with minimal supervision
• Prepare, review and communicate complex financial and capital market information to executives, owners and boards
• Deliver internal and external business development and pitch presentations
• Prepare and review documents such as confidential information memoranda, management presentations and strategic reviews
• Prepare and review valuation analysis and financial modelling
• Develop buyer, investor and target lists and lead client meetings, marketing calls, presentations and due diligence sessions
• Act as main point of contact for clients, advisers, legal counsel and transaction counterparties
• Oversee due diligence, including the data room, and review definitive transaction agreements
• Advise on equity and debt financing options and on succession planning and exit strategies

Required profile

• At least 4 years of professional experience with increasing responsibility, including corporate finance, investment banking or private equity
• Demonstrated experience managing all stages of corporate finance/M&A transactions
• Undergraduate degree in a business-related field with an excellent academic record
• Fluency in English and French
• Preferred: experience with private companies, professional designation (CPA, CFA, CBV, MBA), experience coaching staff and working with diverse teams
