Part‑Time Pharmacist – Community Hospital

About the role

The Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a part‑time pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy coverage across its two hospital sites in Brantford and Paris, Ontario. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, you will join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team focused on high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services to inpatient and outpatient areas, including urgent‑care and transitional‑care units.
• Ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing, verification, and counseling.
• Participate in medication reconciliation, therapeutic monitoring, and drug utilization reviews.
• Support pharmacy staff with education, mentorship, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, provincial regulations, and safety standards.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with a valid license to practice in Ontario.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
