Part‑time Pharmacist – Community Hospital

About the role

Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a part‑time Pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy coverage across its acute‑care and urgent‑care sites. The role does not require overnight or on‑call shifts, allowing for a predictable schedule within a supportive hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and ensure safe medication use for in‑patients and out‑patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimise pharmacotherapy.
• Maintain up‑to‑date pharmacy records, inventory, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide patient counseling and education on medication therapy.
• Support urgent‑care and transitional‑care services at the Willett site.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist licensed to practice in Ontario.
• Availability for part‑time clinical coverage without overnight or on‑call duties.
• Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
