Part-Time Sales Merchandiser - Immediate Start

About the role

Merchandising Consultants Associates (MCA), a Canadian-owned retail merchandising and in-store execution partner, is hiring a part-time Sales Merchandiser in Fort Frances, Ontario. The position is on-site, pays $19 per hour and runs 2 to 5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Applicants must live in the specified location and be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Set up attractive product displays and arrange products according to detailed planograms, optimizing visibility and brand representation.
• Build, modify and dismantle displays while meeting the client's quality and branding standards.
• Keep products well-stocked, properly arranged and ready for customers.
• Install eye-catching signage and perform other merchandising services requested by clients.
• Complete online reports, upload photos and give regular updates to keep stakeholders informed.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key representative for the company.
• Use image recognition apps and scanning technology to collect retail data.

Required profile

• Reliable, proud of their work, with merchandising experience in a grocery, drug store or big-box setting.
• Self-starter who thrives under pressure and ambiguity, with a professional attitude and appearance.
• Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.

Required skills

• Ability to read and execute planograms.
• Strong smartphone skills: downloading apps, reporting in-store, taking photos and using imaging apps.
