Salesperson - Wealth Strategy Firm

About the role

Profit Jumpstarter Media, a boutique wealth strategy firm based in Toronto, Ontario, is hiring a full-time, on-site Salesperson in Kingston. The firm focuses on financial consulting, wealth strategy research and investment education, serving clients from BIPOC immigrant communities and the wider Caribbean and African diaspora. The Salesperson will proactively identify and qualify prospects, present the firm's wealth strategy and investment education services, and work with the consulting and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify and qualify prospective clients and conduct sales presentations
• Manage the sales pipeline and follow up on leads
• Maintain accurate client records and meet or exceed sales targets
• Collaborate with the consulting and marketing teams to align sales with campaign messaging and client needs
• Reach out to clients by phone, email and in person, and build long-term client relationships
• Provide a professional, consultative sales experience

Required profile

• Strong consultative sales skills, including prospecting, relationship building and closing
• Ability to explain financial concepts clearly and a genuine interest in wealth strategy and investment education
• Cultural sensitivity when working with diverse communities
• Solid organization and time management, including tracking activities in CRM tools
• Comfort working on site in Kingston and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Prior experience in sales, financial services or consulting is an asset; post-secondary education in business, finance, marketing or a related field is an advantage
