Part-Time Retail Sales Associate

About the role

AutoShack.com is looking for a part‑time Retail Sales Associate to provide knowledgeable assistance to customers in its Scarborough store. The role blends customer‑facing sales with inventory and operational duties, requiring a balance of product expertise and hands‑on store work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter and by phone, using Make/Model/Year and VIN tools to identify correct parts.
• Recommend compatible parts, accessories, and extended warranties, and process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately.
• Receive and put away stock orders, maintain organized shelves and back‑stock, and verify inventory as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues professionally, and keep the store clean and ready for shoppers.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years retail sales experience and 2 years customer‑service experience.
• Reliable attendance, professional presentation, and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn product systems and sales standards.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb and work weekends.
• Valid driving licence and English proficiency.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $21.50–$23.00 CAD plus monthly commission based on sales performance.
