Part-Time Retail Sales Associate – Auto Parts

About the role

AutoShack is hiring Retail Sales Associates who take pride in delivering consistent customer service and disciplined store execution. This part‑time position combines customer‑facing sales with inventory and operations duties in an automotive parts store.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter and by phone, asking the right questions to determine their needs.
• Use Make/Model/Year and VIN tools to locate the correct parts and recommend compatible accessories and extended warranties.
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately while handling customer inquiries professionally.
• Receive and put away stock orders on time, maintaining organized shelves and back‑stock.
• Count and verify inventory as required and process returns to the distribution centre.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and ready for customers throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Retail or customer‑service experience (preferred 2 years in sales, 1 year in inventory management).
• Comfortable speaking with customers and recommending solutions.
• Reliable attendance, professional presentation, and weekend availability.
• Willingness to learn AutoShack’s systems, products, and sales standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lb.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $20–$22 (CAD) plus monthly commission.
• Commission based on average order value, extended‑warranty sales, and return‑rate performance.
