Part-Time Pharmacist – Community Hospital

About the role
We are seeking a part-time pharmacist to join Brant Community Healthcare System’s pharmacy team. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, you will provide clinical pharmacy coverage across our acute-care and urgent-care sites in Brantford and Paris, Ontario.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver clinical pharmacy services to inpatient, outpatient and urgent-care areas.
- Dispense, verify and counsel on medications in accordance with provincial regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and allied health professionals to optimise medication therapy.
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Participate in medication reconciliation and patient education initiatives.
Required profile
- Current registration as a pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Availability to work part-time hours within a standard work week; no overnight or on-call shifts required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
Required skills
- Clinical pharmacy knowledge and medication management.
- Proficiency in pharmacy dispensing processes and documentation.
