About the role
We are seeking a part‑time Activities Assistant to support social engagement for our senior residents, including those living with dementia. The role involves creating and delivering programs that enhance emotional well‑being while fostering a positive, caring environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in creating and providing programming that enhances the social and emotional well‑being of residents living with dementia.
- Encourage a positive, caring, and fun environment for residents and staff.
- Treat fellow team members and residents with respect and courtesy.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve the residents’ experience.
Required profile
- Passionate about providing exceptional social engagement for residents.
- Demonstrates high attention to detail, professionalism, discretion and the ability to work under pressure.
- Committed to lifelong learning and professional development.
- Values diverse backgrounds and brings a unique perspective to the team.
