Child Caregiver – Private Home

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated child caregiver to provide comprehensive, in‑home childcare for a family in Toronto. The position requires ensuring the safety, development, and overall well‑being of infants and children throughout the day while maintaining a clean and nurturing household environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence, including daily routines and safety.
• Bathe, dress, feed, and prepare nutritious meals for infants and children.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene, social development, and emotional well‑being.
• Organise games, outings, and educational activities.
• Transport children to school, appointments and extracurricular activities using public transportation.
• Supervise children during playtime and ensure safe interactions.
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods and monitor nap schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment.
