About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Visiting Homemaker to provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes in Toronto. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, ensuring safety, and creating a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring client comfort and safety.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and other personal hygiene activities.
- Support regular exercise such as walking to promote mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support throughout the day.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment in the client’s home.
Required profile
- Minimum education: secondary school graduation certificate.
- Prior experience of 7 months to less than 1 year in home care or similar role.
- Ability to pass a criminal record check as required for client safety.
- Willingness to work in an urban home setting; optional live‑in accommodation available but not mandatory.
