Outbound Sales Representative (Remote)

About the role

Langford Staffing is recruiting experienced Outbound Sales Representatives for a client running high-volume consumer calling campaigns. The role is remote, full-time and aligned with U.S. Eastern Time calling hours, with annual target earnings of C$40,000 to C$50,000 depending on performance. You will contact approved leads through an automatic dialer, ask brief qualification questions, handle basic objections and complete professional live transfers; you are not responsible for the final sale or eligibility.

Key responsibilities

• Make continuous outbound calls using an automatic dialer, with clear, confident introductions.
• Ask qualification questions accurately and explain the purpose of the call in simple language.
• Handle hesitation, suspicion, rejection and basic objections, keeping consumers engaged and securing their consent to continue.
• Complete warm or live transfers to the receiving representative and stay connected until the handoff is confirmed.
• Record accurate answers, dispositions, callbacks and transfer outcomes, and respect opt-out requests.
• Aim for about five accepted qualified transfers per dialing hour and apply coaching based on call reviews and feedback.
• Campaigns may cover health benefits, insurance, telecommunications and other approved consumer products or services.

Required profile

• At least three years of recent outbound calling, telesales, appointment-setting, lead-generation or live-transfer experience.
• Experience in a high-volume automatic-dialer environment, qualifying consumers, handling objections and completing warm or live transfers.
• Familiarity with Convoso, Five9, NICE CXone, Genesys Cloud CX, CallTools, Readymode or a comparable dialer.
• Strong spoken and written English, clear pronunciation and a professional telephone manner.
• Typing speed of at least 35 wpm and ability to enter accurate CRM notes and data.
• Availability to work full-time during the required Eastern Time schedule; U.S. consumer campaign experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Remote work setup: computer with at least 16 GB RAM, dual monitors, wired USB headset with noise-cancelling mic, webcam, quiet workspace, reliable wired internet (at least 100 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up).
• Ability to use multiple systems while speaking with consumers.
