Operations Supervisor – Property Management (Trail, BC)

About the role

You know your way around a building—from the basement hallways to the roof—and you get along well with all types of people. You stay cool under pressure and thrive in a fast‑paced retail and office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate custodial shifts, ensure daily/weekly/monthly tasks are completed, and maintain walkways and sidewalks.
• Assist with on‑site landlord work, capital projects, vendor coordination, and event set‑ups.
• Perform minor carpentry, electrical, paint, plumbing repairs, and preventative maintenance, including roof inspections and filter changes.
• Document incidents, file insurance reports, and respond to tenant and vendor service requests.
• Maintain access‑control and key‑control systems and participate in on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• Thrives in a fast‑paced retail centre and office environment.
• Identifies problems quickly and resolves them independently or as a team player.
• Flexible schedule; able to adapt to hourly changes.
• Prioritises safety and stays calm under pressure.
• Dependable, proactive, and enjoys staying busy.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lb+ equipment and working outdoors in all weather.

Required skills

• Proficient use of hand and power tools.
• Good computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Proven maintenance experience.
• Ability to use ladders and train for boom‑lift operation.
