About the role
This position provides administrative and logistical support for events organized by the FAIIRK institute and assists the Director, Noelani Arista, with various projects. The role is full‑time, onsite, and runs from September 2026 to May 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and execution of meetings, interviews, and campus events, including travel arrangements and classroom setup.
- Support the organization of the CRC Symposium on Indigenous Land Dispossession / Political Economy.
- Edit and review documents, audio, video, and web content as needed for institute communications.
- Provide administrative assistance for CFI Grant preparation and other director‑level tasks.
Required profile
- High School Diploma with at least two years of related experience.
- Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
- Proficiency in English, assessed at a level # on a 0‑4 scale.
