About the role
The Class Scheduling team at McGill University seeks a part‑time Office Assistant to support daily scheduling operations. Working under the immediate supervisor, you will ensure data accuracy and help keep the unit running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Enter, update, and verify academic and scheduling data in Banner, Minerva, and other scheduling software.
- Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and tracking documents using Microsoft Excel.
- Search Banner and scheduling systems to identify classroom availability.
- Check data for accuracy, report discrepancies, and keep electronic files organized.
- Respond to routine administrative inquiries and forward complex requests to team members.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with documentation management.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of related administrative or data‑entry experience.
- Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
- English proficiency assessed at level #3 (out of 0‑4).

What we offer
- Hourly wage of $16.85 (AMUSE B) for a 20‑hour work week.
- Fixed‑term contract from July 2026 to May 2027.
