Office and Inventory Manager

About the role
The Office and Inventory Manager will oversee all administrative functions of a busy veterinary hospital, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate record‑keeping. This role supports both the clinical team and the business side of the practice.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, review, and implement administrative procedures and protocols.
- Maintain patient medical records, purchase orders, invoices, and archive documents.
- Prioritize work, delegate tasks to administrative staff, and monitor deadlines.
- Coordinate office services, equipment, supplies, relocations, and security.
- Analyze budgeting processes, assist in operating budget preparation, and control inventory.
- Prepare periodic reports, manuals, and correspondence.
- Supervise administrative and hospital staff as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and medical representatives.
Required profile
- University degree or college diploma in business or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Office and Inventory Manager role or similar.
- Experience in a veterinary hospital environment is an asset.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends when required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
