About the role
The Occupational Therapist will assess clients’ capabilities and expectations related to daily life activities, advise on health‑promotion programs, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse clients’ capabilities and expectations through observation, interviews and formal assessments.
- Consult and advise on health‑promotion programs to prevent disabilities and maximise independent function.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment programmes.
- Evaluate treatment progress and adjust plans as needed.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent experience.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
- Security checks: Child Abuse Registry, criminal record, vulnerable sector.
- Experience working with children and Indigenous communities is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, reliability and team orientation.
