Night Trauma Team Leader – Emergency Medicine

About the role
The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) within Fraser Health is seeking up to two Night Trauma Team Leaders to support its Level 1 Trauma centre. This position involves providing expert trauma care during night shifts and contributing to the broader Trauma Service.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to trauma activations and consultations in the Emergency Department during night shifts.
- Manage calls regarding admitted trauma patients.
- Attend Trauma Service meetings and actively participate in service committees.
- Ensure a minimum of two night shifts per month.
Required profile
- Completed Trauma Fellowship.
- ATLS certification.
- Active position in Emergency Medicine, a Surgical Sub‑specialty, or Anesthesia within Fraser Health Authority.
- Commitment to collaborative, inclusive, and culturally safe care.
Required skills
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
