Motor Vehicle Mechanics Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Motor Vehicle Mechanics Supervisor to lead a small team of mechanical repairers in our Montreal facility. The role involves overseeing daily production activities, ensuring safety standards, and driving continuous improvement in productivity and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare production and related reports.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to the team.
• Supervise 3‑4 mechanical repairers and coordinate project activities.
• Schedule and co‑ordinate work with other units.
• Arrange or deliver training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Requisition and order materials, equipment and supplies.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• At least 5 years of experience in motor vehicle manufacturing or mechanical repair.
• Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
• Efficient interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Team‑player attitude.
• Clear criminal record check.
