Facility Welder‑Fabricator

About the role

Build your career with a maintenance team that keeps our operation running. As a Facility Welder‑Fabricator you will perform a variety of welding, fabrication and repair work that supports equipment in our precast concrete manufacturing facility. The role requires solid trade knowledge, problem‑solving ability and a strong focus on quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a variety of welding, fabrication, and repair tasks to support plant operations.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, diagrams, and schematics.
• Operate welding tools and facility equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform A‑frame repairs, deck chamfer repairs, hard surfacing, weld‑plate modifications, and general fabrication.
• Maintain welding equipment and keep the shop clean, organized and ready for work.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production and other team members.
• Plan, organize and prioritize work to support efficient plant operations.
• Work closely with maintenance leadership to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs.

Required skills

• 3rd/4th Year Registered Apprentice Welder or Journeyman Welder.
• Previous welding, fabrication, or related hands‑on experience.
• Ability to perform accurate welding and fabrication work in a fast‑paced facility.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams and schematics.
